For this first podcast, I’ve chosen interviews with Jason “Retail Geek” Goldberg, the Sr. VP Commerce and Content Practice at SapientRazorfish, and Sarah Engel, the Sr. VP of Global Marketing at DynamicAction.
First up will be Jason Goldberg, who talked with me at the Big Show about the state of omnichannel. Jason says the fundamentals of omnichannel commerce are in place, but its put together with bubble gum and paper clips right now. Jason says the time is now for omnichannel retailers to create a foundation, and that includes associate training and associate staffing.
Next up, we have Sarah Engel, the Sr. VP of Global Marketing at DynamicAction. She’s been tracking her clients’ online data for a while now with the DynamicAction Retail Index. Sarah talked with me about how 2016 shifted consumer behavior and what this means for retailers in 2017.
